What we are experiencing across our nation was not conceived by this one man, nor has he fulfilled it. This regression, degeneration, retreat from the rule of law, cruelty on immigrants and LGBTQ people, administrative incompetency, corruption…it is all on the Republican party, its powerful leaders, its policy writers, its media owners, its religious devotees, its Christian Nationalists, and its wealthy donors.
Many are finally saying aloud what has been noticeable and true since the 1980s: Donald J Trump has below average intelligence, is willfully ignorant, and uses school-boy arrogance to deflect. He is irrational, erratic, and unreliable.
Today is our National Day of Shame. However, some answers to my question, WHY ARE SOME CULT LEADERS AND MOVEMENT LEADERS SUCCESSFUL WHILE OTHERS ARE NOT, gives me a bit of hope. Men like Trump sit precariously in their powerful positions.
